Employing about 1,500 certificated enforcement agents, its members are dedicated to enforcing civil debts on behalf of local authorities and His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service. They recover over £550 million annually in unpaid taxes and fines at no cost to the public, playing a critical role in funding public services and preventing losses estimated at £12 billion.
